Hello there. After having taken out all the photos from my mother's camera, which had photos from 2007 through mid-2011, I thought perhaps making photo/vid collages of them. 

In the past I've uploaded a video here and there, however, ultimately decided in making specific photo/vid collages of them to share. This series is titled Memories of Yore: Photos from my Mother's Camera and will include the year. The years where there were so many photos that would have made for a far too long of a video have been broken down to specific videos.

For this 2023 Thanksgiving Day we didn't have any specific invites prior to the actual day and had decided that wasn't cooking, therefore had gotten some of those Banquet Turkey Meals. We hadn't had those in a long, long time. Then on the actual day, November 23rd, we received an invite from #TiaGloriaCrafts who lives in San Antonio. Shortly after also an invite from a dear school friend.

So off to San Antonio we went and had a lovely Turkey lunch/dinner in the afternoon. That's the photo of the dinner plate you see on this photo collage. Forgot to take a picture of the homemade pumpkin pies and we didn't take photos together either. Still it was a lovely time to enjoy. 

We then drove back to Eagle Pass. We didn't make it to my friend's Thanksgiving.

We also didn't take any leftovers and so when we got back #Armandzraven whipped up a quick mashed potatoe, bacon gravy, deviled eggs, and slices of ham. We also had some leftover vegetable soup that I had made a day before. Tia Rosa joined us for this "lighter" dinner. We watched the movie Pieces of April, which is one of my favorite movies to watch during the Thanksgiving season. 

They day after Thanksgiving we had a Banquet Turkey Meal. It was okay.

Maricopa County Fair! - 2007

These are the couple of photos that were taken when we went to the 2007 Maricopa County Fair. The intent was to take plenty of photos, however, if memory serves me right, I ran out of battery and didn't have spares.  The flyer was downloaded from their website. The mini video, which I have previously uploaded on its own, was taken in error as was attempting to take just the photo of the Ferris wheel, which is what you see following. Once inside the fairgrounds I was able take just one more photo.

So to make this video a bit more fun, you'll see the flyer, as originally downloaded, along with the mini video and the two photos, as originally taken, and then repeated them with after playing with some effects on them. The background photo is also playing with its colorization and by far one of my favorites.

Oh in case you want to know, I use Camtasia for the majority of my quick photo/vid collages. I use a quite old version of it, Camtasia 9 to be exact. At some point in the future I might upgrade to a newer version, however since I mostly use it for these type of photo and vid collages, no rush on upgrading.

Well, it appears that for most of the first part of 2007 I didn't take many photos, therefore decided to create this short flashback video of the few 2007 photos that were taken.

The first photo of the charcoal grill was from January when it was hailing in Arizona. The photo of this was me attempting to capture that. You can see it maybe just a little.

The next set of photos is of Author Amy Teegan. And, just like I added in the text on the video, it's basically now an I knew here when type of photos. These were from when we used to work at the same company in Arizona. They were taken in January of that year shortly or just as she was leaving the company to venture out. The ones that follow of "paper Amy" are from when she had already left and another co-worker missed her so, the he made a paper Amy where she used to sit. The pie photos at the end may have been for birthday celebrations, however can't quite remember. It could have been for cousin Jerry's birthday, or even just because Armandzraven wanted to make pies, as they were made by him.
