My last post Feb. 27th so since then...
Feb. 29th and March 1st was the WorldFEST. I volunteered to help out on the event on Saturday. I went for a bit. It was smaller than I imagined it would be. I picked up a travel info mag for Italy at the Italian booth. I started feeling sick so was not able to finish volunteering. - note to self i want to go to Italy
March 15th and 16th was the Arizona Aloha Festival. Was going to volunteer to help out, but I never got an e-mail back from volunteer coordinator. The festival was packed. There were so many people that you could barely walk. The food smelled yummy, but I wasn't about to wait in line for over an hour for "festival priced food". There were many booths of crafts and what not. Some really neat looking stuff.
March 20th - My B-day. another year older after I had just gotten used to the idea of being a year older from the previous year. So woke up didn't want to do anything. Oh my world crumbling I am getting so old. Then, what the hell so I got up had coffee in the late morning. Lunch with roommates with some nice draft beer. Went to Gameworks, time flew by it was so much fun. Back at home more beer with dinner and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Then Cake with Champagne. I had a great day overall. And really I am not that old... :) I want some beer now...
Tomorrow, mom flies in to visit for a week. Should be nice. Haven't seen her since Dec. for Gueli's funeral. Ok off to tidy up the house for tomorrow :)
