These are photos I took on the 16th of October of 2010. Curiously the title I'd given the folder for these was. "Fall Flowers." My younger self used 'fall' to mean autumn. As I've gotten older, I much prefer to use 'autumn'."

As this year draws to and end, I've realized that although I have uploaded more videos this year than before, particularly in the first half of the year. The idea is to at some point make that gap from videos from past years to current ones be less far apart. At my current pace, it may be several years before that happens. Additionally, I didn't upload as many videos to the 📟 Analog to Digital: A Time Warp Journey playlist as I'd hoped. I've decided to look at this as an exciting opportunity for the new year. Here's hoping the new year will be filled with many more videos.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month 2010!

These are some of the informational pieces and photos of the 2010 Hispanic Heritage Month celebration that also included a salsa contest which took place at the Target Tempe, my then place of work. This was an event that I helped put together as part of the Target Tempe Diversity & Inclusion Council.
The informational pieces were used for a tri-fold that included history of Hispanic Heritage Month, history of salsa, and a list of local Hispanic Heritage Month events. We also coordinated with the inhouse cafe to create a specials menu for the day. There was also a video displayed via a projector with images/photos and brief info about each country that is included during Hispanic Heritage Month.
The photos you see here are a combination of ones I took myself and ones shared by others. The informational pieces are the ones I gathered because I was in charge of putting together the tri-fold. The exception was the header. which had I done, would have been spelled correctly.

Decided to try Suno to create a song a few days ago. Haven't decided if it'll be shared via other socials through Amalgam Creative Arts or No Tan Diario Chronicles because the preference is to make audio, music, sound effects, etc. to use on videos with minimal to no AI assistance. Using pre-made sound loops still requires more creativity to produce audio than prompting, therefore for now making this post on both sharing the link.

You may already know that I create both horizontal and vertical videos for my Amalgam Creative Arts videos, mostly because of posting on different social apps/platforms.
I decided to try the same for one of the recent Step Out - Walk to Fight Diabetes video for my No Tan Diario Chronicles. Though it won't be something that I'll do because I prefer traditional horizontal ones, I find it interesting that vertical videos, specially when they are shorter, seem to get more views that horizontal.
I've also noticed that overall shorter videos, whether horizontal or vertical, seem to get more views. Now I don't create videos for the views, but because I want to share moments throughout my life via No Tan Diario Chronicles and encourage craftivism via Amalgam Creative Arts, however it'd be neat to get monetized at some point, at least on my creative channel.
