For this 2023 Thanksgiving Day we didn't have any specific invites prior to the actual day and had decided that wasn't cooking, therefore had gotten some of those Banquet Turkey Meals. We hadn't had those in a long, long time. Then on the actual day, November 23rd, we received an invite from #TiaGloriaCrafts who lives in San Antonio. Shortly after also an invite from a dear school friend.

So off to San Antonio we went and had a lovely Turkey lunch/dinner in the afternoon. That's the photo of the dinner plate you see on this photo collage. Forgot to take a picture of the homemade pumpkin pies and we didn't take photos together either. Still it was a lovely time to enjoy. 

We then drove back to Eagle Pass. We didn't make it to my friend's Thanksgiving.

We also didn't take any leftovers and so when we got back #Armandzraven whipped up a quick mashed potatoe, bacon gravy, deviled eggs, and slices of ham. We also had some leftover vegetable soup that I had made a day before. Tia Rosa joined us for this "lighter" dinner. We watched the movie Pieces of April, which is one of my favorite movies to watch during the Thanksgiving season. 

They day after Thanksgiving we had a Banquet Turkey Meal. It was okay.
