So it's blog action day with topic poverty... The first places that come to my mind when thinking about poverty is third-world countries, but have you ever been to the "bad" part of town. Take a drive sometime and you'll discover a whole different world.
One thing I can't understand is why there is still poverty and hunger not just in third world countries but in our own back yard. I mean how many years have we been giving money to this and that foundation yet the situation is still the same. There is definitely something stinky going on that is keeping the third world countries from developing.
Nonetheless, I think that the most important thing is to get involved. Whether it is helping your local food bank, a world food organization, laptop.org, one.org, or any other. The important thing is that you get out there and do something.

this weekend...
I went to Rainbow Festival and a Muslim festival on Saturday and participated in the City of Hope breast cancer walk that started in Tempe and went through the Phoenix Zoo on Sunday(Today).
